Interlochen Center for the Arts announced today that jazz trumpeter Josh Lawrence has been named Director of Jazz Studies. In this role, Lawrence will lead jazz programs at Interlochen Arts Academy, Interlochen Arts Camp, and Interlochen Online. He will begin his new role on Aug. 9.
Building on his long and meaningful history with Interlochen Center for the Arts, Cristian Măcelaru will guide and inspire young musicians this summer as part of Interlochen Online's virtual arts camp, which will take place from June 28 to July 19, 2020.
