From The Andrew Sisters to Hip Hop! From World War I to Afghanistan. The Pin-Up Girls sing a cavalcade of hits inspired by letters home from our troops overseas! While singing at their local VFW hall, Leanne and her friends stumble upon a huge stash of letters that go back a hundred years. Inspired by what they find funny, romantic, heartbreaking andsexy, the ladies put on a show that celebrates the guys and gals who fight to defend our country.*Michigan Premiere
Ages: Middle School & Up
Leanne and her friends are entertaining at their local VFW hall when they come across a collection of letters from the past hundred years. The singers are moved to put on a show inspired by the letters home from soldiers, sailors and airmen spanning from World War I through Afghanistan. Songs range from “You Made Me Love You” and “Please Mr. Postman” to “Push It” and “Single Ladies.”
Classic Car Nights are back with three nights and two great shows to choose from! Theatre goers who bring classic cars to Meadow Brook Theatre on a Classic Car Night receive a special discount rate and one free ticket per classic car. Show off your ‘wheels’, socialize with fellow car enthusiasts and enjoy great live theatre. Participants are invited to bring refreshments and have a picnic in the parking lot before the show.
After the previous season was cut short, the company is glad to pick back up and reopen its doors with a world premiere of a new musical!
The season opens with Clue based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn, written by Sandy Rustin, with additional material by Hunter Foster and Eric Price. Based on the Paramount Pictures Motion Picture and the Hasbro board game, this show will be running October 7 - November 1, 2020. Join the iconic oddballs known as Scarlet, Plum, White, Green, Peacock, and Mustard as they race to find the murderer in Boddy Manor before the body count stacks up. Featuring original music by Michael Holland, Clue is a madcap comedy that will keep you guessing until the final twist.
