The second annual GPS (Gay Play Series) culminates in tonight's Closing Ceremonies, which will feature an encore performance of this year's Audience Award for Best Script, A Few Survivors by Jason Sebacher. A Few Survivors is directed by Harry Wetzel and features Mark Halpin and Dan Jaroslaw with costume design by Sheree Coluccelli. The short play will also receive a full run during the upcoming Who Wants Cake? 2011/12 season at The Ringwald.

An Audience Award for Best Performer will also be presented to Christa Coulter for her performance in Vowed and Wowed. Matthew Turner Shelton, who directed Vowed and Wowed, will receive the Audience Award for Best Director.

After the awards and encore performance of A Few Survivors will be this year's Motown MisCast Cabaret. The cabaret will feature songs from Chicago, Catch Me If You Can, Annie, Company, Little Shop of Horrors, Cabaret, Gypsy, Cry Baby and more!

The GPS (Gay Play Series) Closing Night Ceremony occurs tonight, Monday, June 27th at 8pm and tickets are ONLY $10. Reservations may be made online at www.WhoWantsCakeTheatre.com. The box office opens 45 minutes before performances and tickets can be purchased at the door with cash or Visa/Mastercard.
