Live Nation Touring and the Fox Theatre announce that due to popular demand, a merchandise stand for One Direction will be open prior to their June 1 concert at the Fox Theatre in Detroit, Michigan. The stand for top selling group's concert merchandise will open on May 31 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the former Johnny Rockets restaurant location next to the Fox Theatre. Cash and credit cards will be accepted.

One Direction recently became the first British group to top the Billboard 200 with a debut album. Their first North American headline tour kicked-off May 24 in Fairfax, Virginia and every concert has already sold out.

Band member Harry Styles noted "We're so proud of what we've achieved over the past two years, and that's why we wanted to put on a show that reflects that. We've worked so hard to make it brilliant and we don't just want the fans to enjoy it - we want parents and everyone else who comes along to love it too."

The official tour merchandise will be offered for sale at the venue one day early to help prevent fans from having to wait in long lines during the show. T-shirts, sweatshirts, posters, concert tour programs, photos, and other items will be available for early purchase at 2239 Woodward Ave, which is next to the Fox Theatre. A merchandise stand at the same location will also open at 3:00 PM on June 1, the day of the show.

Fans interested in shopping early should arrive at 3:00 PM; the merchandise stand will be open from 3:00 to 7:00 PM. Parking will be available in local lots around the theatre.
