Water Works Theatre Company has announced that it will hold auditions for Shakespeare's Macbeth, the company's 9th annual outdoor summer production in Royal Oak 's Starr Jaycee Park as follows:William Shakespeare's MacbethDirected by Sara Wolf MolnarGENERAL AUDITIONSSunday March 22 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.St. John's Episcopal Church26998 Woodward Ave, Royal Oak MI 48067Southeast corner of Woodward Avenue and 11 Mile RoadMonday, March 23 from 4:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.First United Methodist Church of Royal Oak320 West 7th Street, Royal Oak MI 48067Between Washington and Lafayette streets in downtown Royal Oak.Callbacks for Macbeth will be held the evening of March 30th at the First United Methodist Church .Actors who want to reserve a time slot for general auditions should request their time via email to: waterworksbackstage@earthlink.net or call (248) 399-3727. Those auditioning will need to prepare a two minute Shakespearean monologue.The title role of Macbeth has been cast in this production. All other roles are open to Equity and non-Equity actors. All positions will be paid. Equity members will be paid by a Special Appearance Agreement and non-Equity actors will be paid a small stipend.Water Works Theatre Company is excited to present one of Shakespeare's most dramatic pieces, Macbeth. Shakespeare in the Park in Royal Oak will run July 23- August 9 in Starr Jaycee Park ( 1101 W. 13 Mile Rd , Royal Oak MI 48073 ).
