Based on the classic fairytale, the short film transforms Sergei Prokofiev’s beloved symphony into an enchanting and visually modern retelling, featuring music and narration by Gavin Friday and artwork based on original illustrations by Bono, from his book of the same name. New York City guitarist, singer and songwriter Steve Conte has released a new single, co-written with Andy Partridge (XTC) titled 'Fourth of July.' The song also features drummer Prairie Prince ( The Tubes & Todd Rundgren) who played on XTC’s classic album, 'Skylarking.' On bass is Steve's brother John Conte, with Andrew Hollander on piano.

Andy Mientus (“Spring Awakening”), Krystina Alabado (“Mean Girls”) and Noah J. Ricketts (“Disney’s Frozen”) will star in a new production of Jonathan Larson’s “Tick, Tick … Boom!” as part of Bucks County Playhouse’s 2023 Season. 

New Jersey-based professional training orchestra Symphony in C will present Peter and the Wolf, a free outdoor concert for young people on Friday, June 2, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. (rain date Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 7:00 p.m.) at the Perkins Center for the Arts.

The special transforms Sergei Prokofiev’s much-loved symphony into an enchanting and contemporary visual masterpiece that touches on themes of growing up, loss, courage, transformation, and our relationship with nature. The animated short film is part of an ongoing relationship with Irish Hospice Foundation.

Works & Process at the Guggenheim has announced the long await return of Peter & the Wolf by Sergei Prokofiev with Isaac Mizrahi on Saturday, December 10 & Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 1 pm, 2:30 pm & 4 pm.

Maestro Gerard Schwarz and narrator Jon Secada embark upon a newly crafted reimagining of Sergei Prokofiev's musical masterpiece when Palm Beach Symphony premieres “The Adventures of Peter and the Wolf” as part of the Dale A. McNulty Children's Concert Series on Sunday, October 16 at 3 p.m. at the Eissey Campus Theater on the Palm Beach State College campus. 

​​​​​​​ The Cabot announced that Peter Wolf will return Saturday, October 1, 2022 with his band The Midnight Travelers. This will be Peter's only Boston appearance this fall. Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 19th at 10:00am with Cabot Club presale on Wednesday, June 23rd at 10:00am.
