Mary Poppins on Stage Videos - Broadway

This episode of Broadway Rewind is a look at Disney's Mary Poppins and a behind the scenes look at director John Doyle's production of the Stephen Sondheim and George Furth musical Company, which welcomed back to Broadway Raul Esparza as Bobby. Raul told BroadwayWorld's Richard Ridge, 'The show is a groundbreaking piece of musical theatre, that is a masterpiece. I've seen many, many productions of it, and I've enjoyed them all, but I never knew, that it was this good and I feel like it was just written.'

Entertainment icon Dick Van Dyke visited CBS's THE TALK, and shared his thoughts on the new MARY POPPINS movie reportedly in the works.

Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's Mary Poppins, one of the biggest Broadway successes in recent memory, enters its final two weeks tonight. It concludes its historic Broadway run at The New Amsterdam Theatre on Sunday, March 3, 2013 at 3:00pm after 2619 performances and more than six years. With attendance totaling nearly four million guests, the show has been seen by more people in the last six years than any Broadway show except Wicked and The Lion King. After playing the role of Bert for over two years on the North American tour of Mary Poppins, with a stint on Broadway in Summer 2010, Nicolas Dromard returns to the New Amsterdam Theatre, beginning performances tonight, January 9. Today in 2006, Mary Poppins opened at the New Amsterdam Theatre, where it is still running. Mary Poppins is a Walt Disney Theatrical musical based on the similarly titled series of children's books by P. L. Travers and the 1964 Disney film. It received seven Tony Award nominations, including Best Musical, winning for Best Scenic Design.

Today, the cast of the beloved Broadway musical MARY POPPINS visited the San Diego Zoo. The visit was highlighted by animal and actor encounters as the cast interacted with some of the more vocal members of the Zoo's animal population.

The Sacramento premiere of MARY POPPINS opens Friday, June 3 at 8:00 p.m. at the Community Center Theater for a limited engagement of three weeks through Sunday, June 19, 2011. MARY POPPINS plays Tuesday through Saturday evenings at 8:00 p.m. and Thursday, Saturday and Sunday matinees at 2:00 p.m., with an additional performance on Sunday, June 5 at 7:30 p.m. 'Thus far sales have exceeded our expectations, but there are still great seats available' said Richard Lewis, executive producer of California Musical Theatre.

Dancing With The Stars celebrated their 200th Episode with a special performance by the cast of Mary Poppins.

Dick Van Dyke delighted theatergoers when he made a surprise cameo in the LA engagement of the MARY POPPINS NORTH AMERICAN TOUR on January 22. Van Dyke, 84, reprised his smaller film role, that of the crotchety bank president Mr. Dawes, in front of an ecstatic, sold out house at the Ahmanson Theater as part of a charity fundraiser.
