The San Francisco Examiner gave thumbs-up to her leading role in Urban Bush Women’s acclaimed folk/dance opera, Praise House, at Theatre Artaud: “Ms. Greene is captivating!” Librettist/lyricist/composer of hit Off-Broadway musical comedy, "Sprang Thang," which ran at Player's Theatre, in New York City. Goldee has performed in Amsterdam, Paris, Johannesburg, Toronto, Jamaica, St. Maarten, Anguilla, Aruba, St. Bart’s and Curacao. Guest artist on Grammy Award winning CD "God’s Counting on Me, God’s Counting on You," by Pete Seeger and Lorre Wyatt. In film, appeared with eastern Caribbean reggae star Banke Banx’s Roots & Herbs Band, in globally acclaimed "Cool Runnin’s: The Reggae Movie". Television appearances include made for TV film "The Gospel of Stroke" and sequel, "A Stroke of Luck," directed by seven-time Emmy Award winner Ian James/William Electric Black. Other television work comprises music videos "A Digression on Triangles" and "Loisaida/Lower East Side Children," as well as numerous daytime drama bookings. Goldee has recorded with jazz great Karl Berger/Sertso Studios, Hollywood legend Billy Crystal, renowned actress Vinie Burrows, singer/guitarist John Hall/Orleans, Pete Yarrow/Peter, Paul & Mary, Lauryn Hill, bluesman Guy Davis, Juilliard Opera Company baritone Russell Cusick and Metropolitan Opera lead tenor Adam C.J. Klein. New York credits include Lincoln Center/Praise House, New York Public Theatre, LaMama//Poetry Electric; Theatre for the New City/American Star, New York Public Library/Schomberg, The Kitchen/Indian Blood, Federal Theatre, Knitting Factory, St. Patrick’s Cathedral/Verdi Requiem, Tilles Center/Long Island University/Bach Magnificat. “Goldee’s voice is like chilled champagne on a hot summer’s day,” WBAI-FM. Regionally, Goldee has performed at Painted Bride/Philadelphia, Hallwall’s Theatre/Atlanta, Seven Stages Theatre/Buffalo, Bardavon Opera House/Poughkeepsie, Jacob’s Pillow/Massachusetts, Bennington College, Williams College, Cornell University, Wesleyan University and Marymount College. A resident of the Hudson Valley, she sings locally at Towne Crier Cafe, the Falcon, Howland Cultural Center, Beacon Theatre, Beacon Sloop Club, and Marion Royale Gallery.
